Hi have a question regarding my mom's assisted living bills and her medical care there

She pays fees to live there.  She also pays fees as "personal service" for bathing, giving her daily pills, dressing, continence, toileting, etc.  What should I count for the medical expense?  (1) the full amount? (2) the personal services fee only?  (3) 40% of the full amount?

Generally you can get a tax letter from the facility which gives (their opinion) of what is tax deductible and how much was paid during the tax year.
