Home office expenses

When entering info for home office, are all expenses entered in their entirety both for the entire home and then again for just the home office, or do the ones for the home office only need to be prorated prior to being entered?

    if you get a w-2 the HO deduction has been eliminated. if self-employed you can either use the simplified method $x per square foot for your HO.  taxes and interest would go on schedule A at 100% if you use actual expenses you enter 100% on the HO schedule. TT will prorate by the sq footage you enter and the non HO  portion of deductible expense will carry to schedule A,
