How and where do I enter the volunteer firefighter tax deduction?

There are not any specific Federal deductions related to being a volunteer firefighter.  

 

Some states do have a special deduction or credit though.  As you go through your state return, pay close attention to the choices you have especially on pages for Credits or Income your State Handles Differently.  

 

If you still do not locate the place to enter information for the deduction, please share your state so someone may assist you further.
