How can I get my child tax credit on here

You complete  a tax return (tax forms), wait until late January when the IRS starts accepting returns and then e-file your tax return.  The Child Tax credit is part of a normal tax return.

 

Start with the Free edition of TurboTax (TT).  The interview will guide you.   If TT tells you need to upgrade (I don't think it will, if your return is that simple), in later January, you can access free file options here:
