Question

How do I account for both 1098s for all the interest paid for the year for a single home office? I have 2 1098s from different mortgage companies for the year.

The system shows both 1098s, but I only can select 1 for my home office. How do I account for both 1098s for all the interest paid for the year?

As you work through the TurboTax Questions on Office in Home, it will show you a list of both of your 1098's that you entered into TurboTax.  Simply check the box next to each 1098.

If this does not work, double check your entries for your mortgage interest.  If your mortgages were marked that loan is not secured your property, or if it was a home equity loan not related to your main home, or you pulled out cash with this loan, you would not be able to check the box in the Office in Home screen.
