How do I account for the following:

1. Monetary donations to classrooms.

2. New items I purchased for silent auction gift baskets at a school fundraiser.

3. Supplies (such as table coverings) I purchased for a school fundraiser.

According to the IRS, you can donate some items that were donated to a local school providing they are a non-profit organization. I have included a LINK here that will take you to a good article that discusses donations to schools and the type of items that can be donated.
