How do I add additional HSA contributions
I am not able to add non-employer HSA contributions to an outside HSA provider in the user interface. When I search for HSA it provides me only with employer contributions and no way to change this
Report the contributions under:
Deductions and Credits
Medical
1099-SA, HSA, MSA
You will need to go through the 1099-SA interview and click DONE on the "Here's what we have so far" screen
Next screen will ask if the HSA was inherited
afterwards the interview will continue and ask about additional contributions
