I click on edit and it just keeps taking me back to the done screen, nothing will let me edit, like I'm frozen and [removed].

Please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.

None of that worked.

Also, it may be because your income doesn't reach the filing threshold for the year.  To clarify, what is your income level and filing status?

I have the same issue. I am unable to edit my medical expenses in my desktop Turbotax Deluxe for PC.  I am able to edit all of the other sections with no problem.  This glitch needs to be fixed. When I try to update all I get is the message "Thanks, we got all your Medical Expense info".

Please confirm that in TurboTax for Desktop, when you choose Deductions & Credits:

  1. An amount appears to the right of Medical Expenses, next to the Update button.
  2. When you click "Update," you are taken to the first question about your medical expenses (usually prescription medication).
  3. You are able to click through the remaining questions, changing the amounts if necessary.
  4. At the end, you see "Thanks, we got all your Medical Expense info" with a "Done" button at the bottom.
  5. When you click Done, you are returned to the Deductions & Credits summary page.

If this is not the interview sequence you are experiencing, please provide specific info of where the program does or does not work.

Sure, you get that initially. But, as I do my taxes in pieces, I skipped over that (as I do EVERY year) with the plan to go back and edit when I've finished calculating it. But you can't. You just keep getting the DONE page with no way to edit, while every other category allows editing.
