How do I change an entry to a RIC? T.Tax has downloaded a 1099 DIV form that has a" Foreign Tax Paid" amount but it is from Fund with multiple counties.

If this divided is left without changing to RIC, I am shunted into Foreign Tax Credits that requires lists of countries, incomes / taxes for each.

just select "RIC" for the country from the drop down box

dividends paid by RIC are treated as dividends so 1099-Div is the proper form
