How do I change it to where I don't have any mortgage payments? It thinks I have on this year but I actually don't.

I must have stated that I owned a home in 2020, but I don't. I'd like to change this but can't find where to do the change.

Use the "Delete a Form Tool to remove any Form 1098 Mortgage Interest forms in your tax file. Also, look for and delete any "Home Mortgage Interest" worksheets that are in your tax file.

The most likely reason the program is asking for mortgage information is that you reported paying mortgage interest in a previous tax year - the program doesn't want you to forget income or deductions you had before and may still have.
