How do I change my answer so I don’t have to do form 8862 I clicked yes on the earned income credit by accident and I keep gettin my taxes rejected

Go to the federal input section.

1. Select Deductions & Credits
2. Select All Tax Breaks
3. Select You and Your Family
4. Select Earned Income Credit

You should see a message indicating if you are getting the Earned Income credit or not.  If you are not getting the credit, you can delete the Form by going to the black panel on the left.

1. Select Tax Tools
2. Select Tools
3. In the tools center box which pops up, select Delete a Form
4. Select Form 8862 and delete

This should remove the Earned income credit form unless there is some other input in your interview which is generating the credit.
