How do I deduct commuting expenses for Military Reserve Drill since I commute over 100 miles to my drill location from my home.

Here's where it is in the Desktop software....Online software should be somewhat similar

Go to the Deductions & Credits page.

Scroll down the page ...wayyyy down....until you get to the Employment Expenses section

Under that is a Job-Related Expenses section....go in there.

Part of that interview will ask if you are a Military Reservist, make sure you make that selection, and then go thru the questions that follow. GO thru the various questions at least twice, so that you see how the various expenses for you, are broken down into individual items...or not.
