How do I delete sale of business property category? The info I input is in the wrong place and the software wont allow me to delete or edit it.

Go to where you entered the business and then where you entered your property (depreciation or fixed asset).   This should have been entered under:

1. Income and expenses in the Federal section
2. Scroll to Self-employment income and expenses and select Review
3. Click Edit next to the business name
4. Scroll to Expenses all expenses entered would be listed and you can click on Edit and then should be given the option to delete
5. If you do not see what you are looking for, it may be under Less Common. Less Common categories include Assets and Building and land rental along with other categories.  There are four pages of possible categories.
6. You should be able to delete anything that you have entered into any of these categories.  

The software will let you delete, you just need to get to the correct area.   If you are using the TurboTax desktop then switch to Forms mode and look for Schedule C and you should be able to delete the categories reported from the forms mode.   

If you are using TurboTax Business, deleting categories would be much the same.
