Question

How do I delete the "Foreign Tax credit"? In the "Deductions and Credits" section there's only an edit button, no option to delete

TurboTax is making me upgrade versions to collect this benefit, when the credit is less than what the upgrade costs

We can delete the tax form.

On the menu in the sidebar on the left.

                 

Select Tax Tools

  • You may have to minimize both the Federal and State options by clicking the Down Arrows on the Sidebar.
  • You will then clearly see Tax Tools
  • Click the arrow to up to see additional options
  1. On the drop-down select Tools
  2. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  3. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  4. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  5. Select 1116
  6. Click on Delete.
