Can I edit the amount I entered for property tax?

    Yes, you can make changes to your property tax.

     

    1. Under Federal (Left Sidebar)
    2. Select Deductions & Credits
    3. If you entered a 1098, select Add/Edit next to the mortgage
    4. If you entered other Property Taxes go down to line 9 in this list
    5. For the 1098 select Add/Edit
    6. Click the down arrow on the right, next to your mortgage
    7. On the drop down select Edit
    8. Continue the interview and make the changes.
    9. If you entered other Property Taxes select Edit
    10. The taxes you entered from the 1098 will show but you won't be able to edit
    11. Edit any other property taxes here
