How do I file for a adoption tax credit and if combined with my regular taxes does it take longer to come back

To receive your adoption tax credit in TurboTax, follow these steps:

  1. Select Search on the right top part of your screen,
  2. Enter Adoption Tax Credit,
  3. Select Jump to Adoption tax Credit,
  4. Select Yes,
  5. Answer the TurboTax questions.

Claiming your adoption tax credit should not delay your refund.
