how do I fix incorrect contributions listed in HSA summary

1099 SA is in my name, is a joint account that my wife only contributes to, but when I enter the info, turbo tax is assigning the amount to both people, causing errors

Why do you think that TurboTax is assigning the contributions to both spouses? What are the error messages you are getting?

Note: HSAs are not joint accounts - they belong to an individual, just like IRAs. This means that each of you may have an HSA.

HSA is in my name, the contributions are from her W2, but turbo tax assigned the same amount contributed to account under both of us (my wife's w2 amount for both creating a over contribution). I ended up killing all the work I had done and started my return again, and that resolved the issue.
