To get past the mortgage interest section you must revisit the section and either enter no to the question did you have mortgage interest or delete the bank information. Please follow these instructions. Click Federal on the left tab Click Deductions and Credits on the top tab Go to the section titled Your Home; make sure you click show more Click Revisit next to Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098) The bank information should be listed and you can click the trash can next to it to delete this entry.

How do I get past mortgage interest section since I have no 1098 to answer questions and bank does not issue one due to low interest? I'm stuck!
