Question

How do I get past the Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit section if I don't have a car? It keeps trying to make me insert information on a car but, I don't have a car.

First, be sure you don't have a form 8936 Qualified Plug-In Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit in your tax return.

On the menu bar in the sidebar on the left.

Select Tax Tools
You may have to minimize tabs for
Federal & State
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
This will give you all of the forms in your return
Scroll down to the form you want to delete
Select the Form 8936
Click on Delete.

The option for Energy-Efficient Vehicles, and it may say Review, but you do not have to make any corrections.
