how do i remove a purchase of a vehicle from sales tax on the "easy" option

    To remove a vehicle purchase from sales tax in TurboTax using the "easy" option, follow these steps:

     

    1. Open or continue your return.
    2. Navigate to the sales tax section:
      • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to sales tax. or go to magnifying glass at top right of screen and search for sales tax and select the Jump to link.
      • Select continue with Sales Tax
      • Then select Easy Guide 
      • Continue through until you see major purchases - you then should be able to edit or delete the vehicle.
