how do I undo my motor vehicle credit

    The clean vehicle credit is IRS Form 8936.

     

    To clear this form from your tax return:

    On the menu bar in the sidebar on the left.

                     

    Select Tax Tools

    • You may have to minimize tabs for both Federal & State
    1. On the drop-down select Tools
    2. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
    3. This will give you all of the forms in your return
    4. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
    5. Select the Form
    6. 8936 or Qual. Plug in ....
    7. Click on Delete.

    Under

    1. Deductions & Credit
    2. Energy Efficient Vehicle [Add/Edit]
    3. On the new screen select NO

     

    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
