How to enter two people who use the same home office - turbo tax is only allowing me to enter 1 person
We have one office. I work from home 15% of the time, my husband worked from home 75% of the time
There
are two requirements to claim the home office deduction (click here
for the IRS requirements to claim the home office deduction) the first requirement
is that the use is Regular and Exclusive,
if you are both using the same space for different businesses, then the use is not
considered exclusive and you are not allowed the home office deduction.
