How to find mortgage interest from a bank statement instead of a 1098

There should be a year to date interest paid on your last mortgage statement of the year. Or you can contact your bank to find out how much interest you paid.

 

You will enter it in the 1098 section as if you had received a 1098:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click on the Search box on the top and type “1098”
  3. Click on “Jump to 1098”
