How to fix repeated TurboTax crashes on MAC

I have been working months with the desktop downloaded version of TT Premier without a problem. Now suddenly the program crashes repeatedly soon after opening on my IMac . I received a major discount on the desktop download of TT from my brokerage. Can TT be cancelled and re-installed without losing the discount?

You should be able to re-install it with the installation code.   Not sure if you have this, but it has the (yes, complex) instructions and other troubleshooting tips for MAC users.

If you have the installation file, you can reinstall it.   Where did you access the download from?    Can you still access it?    You can contact your brokerage or TT Help if not.

I am not sure where to find the TT installation file on my MAC.  Yet, the download (?) does appear on my TT account along with the installation code. May this be downloaded again after deleting the current version? Incidentally, it seems that un-installing TT is very complex on the MAC.

    Thanks for your kind assistance.
