@erimavignier  Are you a US person ( citizen/ GreenCard/ Resident for tax purposes )?   The interest income is  from which country  ( for purposes of Treaty consideration ) ?  Is this from  a foreign bank / CD account that you own  or from a broker?    Also what is the quantum of the interest income ? Is it being taxed by the foreign country ?
