Hello,

I paid my school tuition which includes medical insurance $3000 for the whole school year. Do I need a form to provide to IRS to show medical insurance expense? I assume half of it $1500 is for 2024. How to enter this in TurboTax? Thanks

Dennis

Medical insurance is an itemized deduction and is only deductible if you itemize instead of taking the standard deduction.

You can report your tuition and other education expenses in TurboTax by searching for 1098-T and using the jump to link.
