turbotax 2023 is adding the amount in box 12 of my W2 to my taxable income. the amount of being added is code W (employer HSA contribution). is this an error? this amount shouldn't be added into my income should it?
TurboTax treats the contribution as an excess contribution until you complete the HSA section of TurboTax to establish your eligibility to have made the contribution.
