HSA deduction

I contribute to my HSA through my employer pretax payroll and I’m taking the standard deduction of $29,200 this year.

My question is am I allowed to claim my HSA since it’s pretax through my employer and I’m taking a standard deduction??  Wouldn’t that be considered double dipping? If I’m suppose to report no HSA since it’s through my employer - aren’t I still required to report whatever I spent out of my HSA with the 1099SA form? Thanks

No, you do not claim a credit for the funds put into the HSA account since those were already pre-tax.

The program does mention to only enter those funds you contributed outside of work.

Yes, you still enter the 1099-SA and indicate if the funds were used for medical/health expenses.
