HSA is a little confusing. I put the whole amt for the year that I contributed correect?

Yes, the entire amount contributed is reported in the year contributed. However, it depends how you paid the monies into your Health Savings Account (HSA).

1. In most cases, your HSA contribution has already been reported in Box 12 of your W-2 with code W: Employer Contributions to Health Savings Account

2.  If you made HSA contributions not reported on your W-2 (this is uncommon), we'll ask about that when you step through the Medical section.
