I am a 1099 contractor working for 1 company all of 2017. They put my mileage reimbursement in my check. Will this count toward AGI and put me over for EIC.single 2 kids

As VolvoGirl pointed out, if they added to your income (which they probably should not have), that just means you can deduct it as a business expense.

The 'net result' will be the same, so it should not affect AGI or EIC.

We cannot answer that question.  We cannot see any of the figures you have to enter on your tax return.  Make sure you enter all of your expenses in a schedule C.

Is mileage income counted as taxable income?

Only the Net Profit on schedule C.  You enter the whole 1099Misc as income and then you can deduct your vehicle expenses on schedule C.  Maybe it will wash out the mileage.
