Please clarify your questions. What type of errors are you seeing and where are you seeing those errors on the worksheet?

Thank you for your reply.  I was not sure how to put my comment as a question.

I am using the Basc version on a CD.

On the Charitable Deduction Limits Worksheet For Carryover Contributions (Charity Limit 2 on Forms Menue);

1.  Section D Line 24:  Both Line 6 and Line 7 on Input Step 1 = 0.  Worksheet shows 43,080.

2.  Section D Line 26:  Worksheet shows 12,210.  This is not correct.  The same calculation is made iin Step 2 Line 8d.  That calculation is correct.  The value 12,210 also appears on Worksheet Line 27.

I do not usually check the detail calculatons on these Worksheets.  I check the input values and assume that the math is done correctly.  I decded to go thru the details this year to learn more about the deduction limts and how they are applied.  I have looked at my Worksheets for 2020 and 2021 and find similar errors on both.

Earlier this year similar errors were occuring on the Charitable Deductions Limits Worksheet For Current Year Contributions (Charity Limit 1 on the Forms Menue).  The latest Update that I have received appears to have corrected those errors.

I have used TurboTax for years and have never seen anything that made me question any calculations.  l am not so sure now that the guarantees of correct calculations and maximum deductions amount to anything.

Do you have any overrides (red numbers) on your worksheet? The lines you refer to are all calculated fields so they should match up.

Section D line 24 comes from Step 1 lines 6 and 7 so there should not be a number in line 24 unless there is a number in Lines 6 and 7.

Line 26 is auto-calculated from line 8.

You can contact support and have a Tax Specialist look at your return.
