Question

I am required to take an RMD but CARES act for 2019 allows not. I took some. Filling in Turbotax asks what totale RMD should have been. I left thart blank. Next line asks what RMD amt. received, which I entered. Is that correct?

    Yes, it is correct. You weren't required to take the RMD, you correctly leave the box blank, and in fact, you took some money out, and you need to report that, which you did.
