I am retired law enforcement can I write off new job serach expenses in law enforcement

I drove and did expansive job interview for a government agency in another state. I am retired from a government agency. Can I and where can I deduct these expenses

    Job search expenses are no longer deductible for tax years 2018 to 2025, per the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
