Do you get a W-2 for your work? The new tax law eliminated the deduction for employee business expenses for 2018 through 2025. If you are a W-2 employee you cannot deduct any of your vehicle expenses or travel expenses.

If you are no longer using your 2017 vehicle, you would go through that vehicle section and indicate it was sold.

If you started to use a new vehicle in 2018, you would enter that information in the vehicle section. Just follow the questions, and it should tell you what to enter.
