I applied my 2022 refund to my 2023 estimated taxes and that shows up in Turbotax automatically as I prepare my 2023 taxes.  It is on the Tax Preparation Worksheet line 6 and along with the amounts on lines 1 to 4 it appears on my 1040 on line 26.  But the IRS returned the money from the 2022 refund to me (along with interest). How can I change the amount that TurboTax has included on that line?  Alternatively, where can I note that the IRS sent me a refund?

Thanks!

Federal tax refunds are not reported on a federal tax return.

To enter, change or delete a refund from the prior year applied to this years taxes (Federal, State, Local) -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
    Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
On Other Income Taxes, click on the start or update button

On the next screen select the options under 2022 Refund Applied to 2023
