I bought a truck last year for a business added to the gas/mileage expense but didn't write if off for deprecation can I still claim that on this years taxes??

The IRS has depreciation built into the standard mileage rate so you did take depreciation last year. See the screenshot below.
If you want to use actual expenses, you would have to amend your 2015 income tax return. To amend, click on How do I Amend (Change or Correct) a 2015 Return in TurboTax?
