I bought items from GreaterGood.org it says my order helped with 42 bowls of food can I write that off?

If you received goods or services in exchange for your purchase, even though it benefitted a charitable organization, you cannot deduct the cost of your purchase. 

If you made an additional, separate donation of additional cash, then that amount can be deducted.
