I didn’t get a credit for my child that was born in September 2019

When your baby was born in 2019, then they are considered to have lived with you all year. When asked how many months they lived with you, select The whole year.

In TurboTax Online, go to

1. Personal Info
2. Review/Edit
3. In Personal info summary, click edit next to the relevant child
4. Continue past What’s [child’s] relationship to you, or enter My child, if not already entered
5. Continue past Tell us about [child]
6. On the How many months did [child] live with you in 2019? page, enter The whole year in the [Child] lived with me for… box, and the same in the Months in the U.S. box.
