I do not have a 1098 (for property tax deductions) and do not wish to claim the deduction this year How do I remove that from my return this year?

The return is prompting me to enter info for a 1098- which I do not have since my loan is on a hold.

Use the "Delete a Form" tool to remove the undesired Form 1098.

You will have to delete any Home Mortgage Interest Worksheets or Form 1098:Mortgage Interest Statements that carried over from your 2019 tax file.
