Question

I do not have a mortgage on my house, but they keep asking for information. How do I answer those question on mortgage?

You may have entered information in the home mortgage section by mistake. I suggest you look for form 1098 in your program and delete it if you find it as follows:

 

1. Find the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar and click on it

2. Click on Tools

3. Find Delete a Form and click on it

4. Look for form 1098 in the list of forms and click on the option to delete it

 

Also, look for anything that references your home mortgage and delete it.
