Question

i do not want to claim the dependent care credit. how can io cancel out of this

    The child care credit can be deleted in TurboTax by following these steps:

     

    • Sign in to TurboTax
    • Click Tools on the left side panel
    • Click Tax Tools
    • Click Delete a Form
    • Choose form 2441
    • Select Delete

    Per the IRS, the child care credit is, "If you paid someone to care for your child or other qualifying person so you (and your spouse if filing jointly) could work or look for work, you may be able to take the credit for child and dependent care expenses."
