Question

I don't have a 1099-R for anyone with this address in Maryland so don't know what they are asking for.

A Form 1099-R is issued to the taxpayer if he or she has taken out distribution from their annuities, profit-sharing plans, retirement plans, IRAs, insurance contracts or pensions.  The information might have been carried over from 2019 program.  If it does not apply to you, you can simply remove it from the program.  Here are the steps:

 

In TurboTax online,

  • Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
  • Select Tax Tools, click on the drop down arrow
  • Select Tools
  • Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form
  • Select Delete next to the Form 1099-R and Continue with My Return
