Question

I don't have a foreign bank account but is says I do, how do I fix this?

I uploaded my 1099 INT and it said a box was checked that wasn't and I didn't uncheck it at first. Then I realized it was wrong and unchecked it but it's still not letting me file for free. I have no foreign bank accounts and my interest for the whole year was $83. I should not need to pay to file!

To get past this in TurboTax Online:

Select Tax Home in the left pane
On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the Income & Expenses box, then select Start, Review/Edit, Continue or Pick up where you left off
Select the dropdown to the right of Less Common Investments and Savings (1099-OID, contracts and straddles, etc.
Select Start or Revisit to the right of 1099-OID, Foreign Accounts
Continue through the following screens, unselecting any boxes that might have been previously selected incorrectly
