Question

I don't have a home mortgage. Turbo tax won't let me off of the 1098 page until I fill it out. What do I do?

I paid off my load in 2018. I don't have a 1098 nor do I need one.

Try the following:

Go into the Federal program by selecting Federal in the black panel on the left
Select Deductions & Credits at the top of the page
Select Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098)
On the next page, you will see a screen titled Here's your 1098 info
Select the trash can icon to the right of each mortgage lender to delete the information for 2019
