Generally, the Child Tax Credit is $2,000 for a qualifying child under the age of 17..

But only up to $1,400 of the credit is refundable and is phased-in based on your earned income.  In most cases, you must have $2,500 or more of earned income to be eligible for any portion of the refundable Child Tax Credit. You get 15% of the amount earned over $2,500.

For example, if you have $6,000 earned income: $6,000-$2,500=  $3,500

                                                                              $3,500 x 15% = $525 Child Tax Credit.

Furthermore, the $2,000 per-child credit is reduced once your AGI reaches $200,000 (or $400,000 if you're filing jointly with your spouse).

Please, see What is the Child Tax Credit? for additional details and requirements.

If none of this applies then you might want to review your entries. Please be aware, you can use your 2019 earned income instead of your 2020 income to compute the Child Tax Credit.
