I donated $15,000.00 to Haitia Christian Outreach to build a well for fresh water. Can I deduct that as a charitable contribution?

Only if the charity is classified as a qualified charitable organization in the US. If so, you'll need a receipt for the contribution as support in the event of an IRS audit. The TurboTax FAQ below will help you determine the classification of this charity.
