I drive for a living with a dodge pickup. turbo tax has given me the standard mileage deduction. what do I do about my fuel costs? Or do I do both.

You may EITHER take the standard milage rate  OR  the actual expenses (gas, oil, repairs, ect)  prorated for business use ... you cannot use both options.   In the Vehicle expenses section you may enter all the expenses if you like and the program will tell you which is the better option.
