If this is from W-2, job related expenses, you will need to add work expenses for your wife's income in this way:

1.  To be sure you enter as an addition, finish entering your Job-related expenses.

2.  Go back to the top of the and click Deductions and Credits.

3.  Then go back down to Employment Expenses, then choose Job-Related expenses again.

4.  This takes you to a Summary page that shows the total of all your expenses.

5.  On the bottom left you will see, Add Another Occupation, click there.

6.  Look right in the middle of the page and you can choose either your wife or yourself to add expenses.  Choose your wife's name.

7.  Once you do this, you will be asked the same questions regarding her expenses that you were asked.
