Good morning,

My husband and I just got married in May. We have two kids together. We both recently got new jobs in March and we're now in a higher tax bracket. Together we make 106,000 annually. We were both claiming 3 on our W4's but I recently did a tax refund calculator and it said we'd end up owing $2000. How do I adjust this? Should I file separate and claim the kids since I make less? Help!!

The person with the lower income should claim Single and zero allowances on the W4  and the higher earner can claim married and 3 allowances .... or use the tools to compute a different combination.
