    If this was a driveway attached to your personal residence, then no, it is not deductible.

     

    Instead, you add this amount to the basis of your home, so that when you sell your home, the gain is reduced.

    if it was your residence, then no unless 1) if you have a home office, then a portion would be deductible or 2) it was rental property
